TECHNICAL, LEGAL, CORPORATE TRANSLATION
Marco Juliano e Silva Me. is a translation service based in São Paulo, Brazil, offering the following language services:
- both ordinary and sworn translation of main European languages - our most frequent assignments include translation of contracts, accounting reports, balance sheets, financial statements, technical standards, technical manuals, corporate codes of ethics, strategic plans and advertising texts. WE SPECIALIZE IN URGENT TASKS;
- software localization and translation of websites; so far, we've translated video games (such as sections of Gunbound, for instance) and XHTML webpages, and we are conversant with the main localization softwares; we also have a fairly good layman's notion of C++, XHTML, CSS, and less so of Java, and we have a good outsider's grasp of subjects such as algorithms, amongst others. This is a segment of the industry we're especially anxious to work for;
- economic, political and cultural mainstream news summaries - regular e-mailing of fully translated or summarized articles selected from any communication vehicle according to your specifications;
- online language assistance and language classes- real-time assistance and language classes personally or through MSN Messenger, Skype and public and free internet materials (such as song lyrics, YouTube clips and film scripts, for instance) focusing on corporate or personal professional goals;
- secretarial support - writing, proofreading, video transcription, typing;
LITERARY TRANSLATION, AND TRANSLATION FOR PERSONAL PURPOSES
We also work with personal texts, such as résumés, letters, and academic works, such as abstracts, literary pieces (lyrics, essays, fiction), and others you may wish to submit to us.
THE TRANSLATION COORDINATOR
Marco Juliano e Silva is originally an Architect (CREA-SP 129.042) with two employment experiences in this area in Paris (with Massimiliano Fuksas, Feb./March 1991 and Jean Balladur, June/Oct. 1991), were he lived for two years, and Film Studies in London (at the London Film School, in Covent Garden), where he lived and worked for almost four years. He is a translator of technical and legal English, French, Italian and Spanish mainly for corporations and with experience in several areas, and of literary texts for academic purposes.

The company has been fully active since its creation in 1999, and has always sought to develop ties with the academic world and partnerships with the leading Public Translators of the mentioned languages. It also features a team of collaborators via web that includes Lawyers, Engineers, Economists and other professionals, as well as native speakers of the languages we work with.
